Simply. No. Amazon and Google happened to rise like a phoenix from the ashes of the 10" tablet war and produce two cracking and ultimately successful products. The Nexus Tab, And The Amazon Fire. Two pretty damn good tablets which weigh in with 7" screens. They have stolen a pretty large percentage of the tablet market share from the big boys in Cupertino and they don't like it. So they are trying to muscle in on the party and have released a 7" tablet of their own, which isn't a surprise to many. There have been leaked images and catalogue numbers etc for months much like the hype towards the release of the new IPhone. So now its finally here is it really worth your hard earned cash? Lets take a look at the Specs.

Verdict
This is an ultimately inferior product as the specs above confirm (especially the recycled A5 Processor from the IPad 2). Especially as the main battleground for 7" tablets is pricing. This is not very competitively priced if i'm honest. £269 for the basic 16GB wifi only model. you can get a superior product with 32GB storage, 3G capabilities and higher resolution display for £239. Not naming any names *nexus tab 7 cough* In my opinion it really, really, really is not worth buying this and the only thing you do prove if you do buy it is that Apple have finally managed to master brain washing technology. It just isn't worth it especially as it is now running iOS6, which to be frank looks pretty outdated when stood next to Android 4.2 or Windows 8RT.
